A Googol |
|
10^100. My sister seems to think that you can count to a googol in one year.

You're a very angry person. It's the number 10 with 100 zeroes behind it. It's like the highest number there is beside infinity, though Anthony or Shawn will most likely call me out on that one.

Well, you could try a Googolplex which is 10^Googol.
My favorite part of that page is the etymology.
"In about 1920, Edward Kasner's nine-year-old nephew Milton Sirotta coined the term "googol"; Milton then proposed the further term "googolplex" to be "one, followed by writing zeroes until you got tired." Kasner decided to adopt a more formal definition "because different people get tired at different times and it would never do to have Carnera [a champion boxer] be a better mathematician than Dr. Einstein, simply because he had more endurance.""
Haha, comedy!

But that means a Googolplex isn't higher than a Googol, because I argue that a Googolplex is 100.

10 to the power of a Googol is 100? Wow, someone needs to go back to basic multiplication.

I was using the definition of "one, followed by writing zeroes until you got tired."

Mastery Math is for when you're not very good at math. So go for it.
